Welcome to Remembering to Be, an ezine devoted to sustaining everyday awareness and inner peace.

How often I've wished I would magically receive the gift of “Being” in a such away that I would never forget it. Alas, this has not happened to me – nor to any being who has not reached enlightenment! So, I decided to call this ezine Remembering to Be.

The conscious act of writing about Being is itself a meditation. I become aware of my fingers on the keyboard, the sound the keys make, the way I'm sitting in my chair, my breathing, the twinge of pain in my lower back. Just writing these few sentences has made me more aware of my breath and the tenseness in my body. I decide that when I finish this, I will stop and have a cup of tea.
